Dr. Jekyll is a relatively new cafe a short walk from my place, on Grey St in St. Kilda, yep, the prostitute street. Offering caring, relaxed service and a simple, reasonably priced menu for breakfasts and lunch.
I usually go for their mushroom, goats curd, roasted capsicum baguette, but last week I went for the avo and feta mash special with a side of fresh tomatoes and pan fried prosciutto and it was delicious! They have great serving sizes here, just enough to get you through a long day.
They’ve recently opened a larger dining room to the left of the original shop front and have a cute little decked courtyard with heaters for Melbourne’s indicative weather, therefore, if you’re at the beach and suffering from a post-paddling grumbly tummy now you know where to go!
