On Thursday I ventured out to Heide to see the photography exhibtion Up Close – specifically to see Goldin’s Ballad of Sexual Dependency in person – as opposed to on my computer screen or giant coffee table book with binding down the centre. It was great to see this work in it’s intended environment especially after spending so much talking studying and writing about it; it was very satisfying, particularly the second half of the slideshow.

I’m not sure who’s this is but it reminds me of Ross Bonfanti’s Concreatures that I absolutely adore.

We also went to Cafe Vue while we were there, I had the Duck pie, it was pretty yum apart from the mash being ice cold, the service was similar and the coffee was ****ing disgusting, utterly disappointing.
